Finally, we noticed a home in our neighborhood (actually in the same ward) and decided to walk through it. It was great! We both agreed that it was the house for us! We put an offer on the house and it was accepted on Christmas Eve. Since then we have just been playing the game with all the forms and fun stuff that you have to fill out to get a house. Then finally today - the papers are signed and our part of the deal is over.
Unfortunately the owners of the house haven't signed the paperwork yet so we don't have keys, but we will get them soon and then I will post pictures of our new place!
Until then, here is an outside shot of the house (for those of you that are curious).
Oh - and we are planning on moving our stuff next Tuesday evening (that is the 27th) so if you want to come help us move we would love it! We can definitely use the help.

Congrats!!! We will try to come and help move...Preston says he might have to be in Philly on the 26th, but maybe he can be home by the night of the 27th. Of course, it wouldn't seem right to move you if Preston was actually in town, would it?
Congrats! Signing on your first house is awesome! It's in Riverdale, right?
We'll be there, after work. We'll bring B.J., too, if he isn't working.
