Saturday I went with my friend Dawn and her little boy Carson to do an Easter Egg hunt. The hunt was at a mortgage office in South Ogden. It had snowed Saturday morning, so we were a little bit worried about how it would work, but they had set up some eggs inside for the little kids. It was fun, there were several children under 2 that were being enthusiastically encouraged to pick up eggs by their parents. Most of them didn't care, but would do it because Mom wanted them to. Our little Carson did pretty good at first, but then one of the eggs broke open and he saw that it had a tootsie roll in it. At that point the game changed and he just wanted to open the egg and get the candy out. Soon his hands were full of candy and he didn't need anymore eggs. But we continued to encourage him to get more. They would roll eggs under the cubicle desks and we tried a couple times to get Carson to pick those up, but he would run his little head into the desk every time. Poor little kid. But in the end he had a nice hand full of tootsie rolls. It was a fun little hunt.

Look how big he is getting! I remember being excited in December that he was almost walking. Time flies!
