Saturday we decided to take advantage of a fairly free schedule and take a drive to look at the leaves changing color. I have historically had a bad attitude about fall. I see it as only the precursor to Winter (the season of death!). But I decided to make a good effort to enjoy all seasons here in Utah, and we took a ride to look at the leaves. I will admit that it was an especially nice day to take the ride because
it was sunny and about 80 degrees, so I didn’t feel too bad about summer being over. We drove up to Logan (with the ulterior motive of getting ice cream) and I must admit it was a beautiful drive. The red trees were out in force – though the yellows haven’t turned yet. I am sure it will be lovely for a few more weeks.
