A Hard week to be a baby

Emie had a hard week. On Friday she had to get her 4 month shots. She was a good girl and only cried for a second after the shots. Her Grandma Haun came to babysit that day - so she could keep a good eye on the little girl. She was happy and fine for most of the day, but toward the end of the afternoon her legs started to hurt. By the time I got home she was not very happy.  Her legs hurt to move, and she was starting to get a fever.

Matt and I kept an eye on her fever all night, it got pretty high, but not so bad that we had to take her to the doctor, just enough to keep her a little uncomfortable.

Saturday and Sunday she developed a bad cold. Her eyes were getting all gooby and her nose was running. Grandma came to babysit again on Monday and she needed lots of extra cuddles. Tuesday morning she couldn't open her eyes, they were stuck closed. Mom and dad were not getting much sleep with a sick baby - and neither was she. By the middle of the week she started to feel better, still had a runny nose, but not as bad. She is still fighting her cold a little, but I would say she is 80% better.
