The Air Show weekend that almost wasn't

Every couple years or so they do an airshow and open house at Hill AFB.  I have really enjoyed going on Base and watching the shows for the past few years.  Last time they had one Matt came and we had a great time.  It has been a couple years since they have had one, so we were pretty excited to go.

Sadly, the day of the air show it was cold and rainy and windy.  Those three items make going to an air show much less fun.  So we ended up skipping the show and going bowling with my family instead!  Not a bad second option.

The weather improved the next day so Matt and I headed out to catch the end of the day and hopefully see the Thunderbirds show.  We were able to find a place to sit and enjoy some of the planes that were out there flying.  They were not able to do all the shows, because it had still been raining, but we saw some fun stuff and watched the Thunderbirds before the show was over.
