Summer, where did you go? I can't believe it is September already. Wasn't it just June a few weeks ago? Somehow the entire summer went by and we hadn't made a trip to Bear Lake. It was a shame. So Chrystie and Preston planned to bring the Jet Skis to the lake, and the rest of us followed.

Matt and I drove up on Friday night after work. Somehow after work always results in leaving home around seven. Sadly that had us driving up the Canyon in the dark. We were extra special careful to avoid hitting any deer, and we were lucky to find a truck to follow up the canyon to run interference for us.

We made it to the trailer at Sweetwater on Friday night just after Chrystie's kids had gone to bed. We hung out for a while then went to sleep.

Saturday was beach day. Unfortunately it was also a cloudy day. We made it down to the beach and I played with Arden while the boys tried to get the jet skis to start. They had a little trouble with that, but they did get started and we were able to go out and play. Matt and I took the first shift, and had a good time. I find that I don't always like to go super fast, but I still have fun. We had a great time at the beach, playing frisbee and taking turns on the skis.

After the beach Matt and I went up to the pool to swim some more and take showers. My mom made some super yummy dinner and then Matt and I drove to Le Beau's for shakes. Good Stuff. That night we played Mad Gab, and I was dying laughing. I always want Matt on my team when we play that game.

Sunday was a relaxy day also. We lounged around for a while and then went to the pool. Then it was time for lunch, time for cleaning, and time to go home. We made it home in good time and I was able to relax before bed. I made it without getting too sunburned, which is a good thing - Matt is a little more red than I was, but we both had a really good time. Too bad summer is oer and we have to wait for next year to go back.

Do we have to wait 'til next year? There is always the chance to close it for the winter. Ha Ha. Tha pool won't be open, but the lake will.
