Fam-I-Ly

Tuesday I had the opportunity to babysit my niece Cora. She was too young to go skiing with the rest of her family. We put together puzzles and played with Emmy until my dad got off of work and came to pick her up. We first went to McDonald's for some lunch and playland (mostly the playland).

Matt went out of town on Wednesday for a conference in Denver. He had fun walking the 16th street mall and going to a Nuggets game. Since I was home with Emmy alone during this time we spent a lot of our days with my parent's . It was nice to have someone else around to hold the baby and to talk to. It was also good to have dinner made for me (my mom make some good dinners).  My mom spent a lot of time with her mom in the hospital and then rehab center during the week, so we didn't see her as much as we wanted to, but it was fun to spend the time that we did.

Saturday we celebrated my Grandma Haun's 90th Birthday. A dinner had been set up at Maddox (in the lodge). Matt was on a plane ride home from Denver, so I took a ride over with my parent's and BJ. Josh wasn't feeling well, so Val came over with us. Most of the family was there. It is always nice to get together, even if I usually end up just catching up with my brother and sisters.  We even called Dan up on Skype to say hi to him and his family. That didn't work too well because it was too loud to hear them on the phone, but it was nice to see them anyway.
