The Clark Clan: Last Week

It was great to have Matt back home. Both Emmy and I had missed him. She was excited to show him some of the new things she learned while he was away - like how to grab her feet.

It was my last week at home before I had to go back to work. I decided to take advantage of it. I spent all the time I could just snuggling my little lady. We also took some naps.

We were able to go and visit my Grandma Wilson in the rehab hospital. She was doing a lot better and was able to sit and stand and move from her chair to the bed. While she was in bed she could prop up her legs and spend some time with Emmy.

Wednesday I went down to Layton to have school lunch. Well - not really. I ate lunch at the school, but I took Wendy's . It my my minion's "Lunch with someone Grand" day. Carson had wanted to invite his dad, but he couldn't get out of work that day, so I went. Natalie ended up wanting to have lunch with me too. So Dawn and I traded kids for a minute. She watched Emmy while I at lunch with her littles. They don't have very much time to eat! But it was fun to listen to them talk about fun Elementary School things. Then they had to hurry off to recess.

On Thursday I dropped Emmy off with her Grandma and headed out to Salt Lake to get my hair cut. I still drive out to Murray to get my hair cut because I really like the girl that does it.

Emmy is getting bigger and smarter every day. She also started sleeping through the night this week. We put her to bed right around 9:00pm and can sleep until about 5:00-6:00am. I am loving it!
