Shoulda Been Doctors

Matt's friend Preston has been telling him about a Wii game called "Trauma" for a while. Apparently he really likes it and thought we would have fun playing it too. Well, we were walking through Costco the other day and saw it there on sale, so we picked it up. It sat on the shelf for a while, then we pulled it out on Saturday night.

I guess you would say we were instantly addicted (at least I was). In the game we are the doctors and we do a bunch of operations on people. There is a silly little plot going on too, but we go quickly through those and then show off our surgery skills. OK, so we really are not that good, and we get C grades on the easy level, but it is fun to say things to each other like "I need more suction" and "I'll hold it closed and you suture."

We started playing on Saturday night just after 8 and before I knew it it was Midnight. I had to have Matt help me pry my had off the remote. It was lots of fun.

Who are you, and what have you done with Amanda? Amanda, the one who can't even stand thinking about the sight of blood. Amanda who thought she couldn't do anything medical because of the aversion to blood thing. Obviously, this game must not be totally realistic (hopefully). But it sounds like you are having fun!

Hey, bring that game on Sat. Sounds like fun! I hope I don't get a C as that is what I do (kind of) for a living. No open heart surgeries of course.
